SuperRemovals – Professional Moving & Relocation Services

Definitions

  • “Company” refers to SuperRemovals, its employees, agents, and subcontractors.
  • “Customer” refers to any individual or business engaging the services of SuperRemovals.
  • “Goods” means the items that the Customer requests to be moved, packed, stored, or transported.
  • “Services” means any packing, moving, storage, transportation, or related services provided by SuperRemovals.

Quotations & Bookings

  1. All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  2. Quotations are based on the information provided by the Customer. Any additional services, delays, or variations may result in extra charges.
  3. Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of a written agreement and, where required, a deposit payment.

Payment Terms

  1. Payment must be made in accordance with the agreed schedule before or on completion of services.
  2. The Company reserves the right to withhold delivery of Goods until full payment is received.
  3. All deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customer Responsibilities

The Customer must:

  1. Ensure proper access to the collection and delivery addresses (including parking, lifts, permits, etc.).
  2. Be present, or ensure an authorized person is present, during collection and delivery.
  3. Properly pack and secure any fragile, valuable, or hazardous items unless the Company has been specifically contracted to provide packing services.
  4. Notify the Company in advance of any restricted, dangerous, or prohibited items.

Company Responsibilities

SuperRemovals will:

  1. Use reasonable skill and care in handling, transporting, and storing Goods.
  2. Provide staff who are trained and equipped to perform the services safely.
  3. Carry out services at the agreed time, subject to delays caused by weather, traffic, or other factors beyond the Company’s control.

Limitations of Liability

  1. SuperRemovals’ liability for loss or damage to Goods, however caused, is limited to £40 per item unless additional insurance has been arranged and confirmed in writing.
  2. The Company is not liable for:
    • Goods packed by the Customer.
    • Pre-existing damage, wear, or deterioration.
    • Losses arising from delays, consequential damages, or loss of profit.
    • Cash, jewellery, documents, or items of sentimental value unless declared and specifically agreed upon in advance.

Insurance

  1. The Customer is strongly advised to obtain appropriate insurance for their Goods.
  2. The Company can arrange extended insurance cover upon request, subject to additional charges.

Cancellations & Postponements

  1. Cancellations made within 7 days of the booked date may result in a cancellation fee.
  2. If the Customer postpones or cancels within 48 hours, the Company reserves the right to retain the full deposit and/or charge up to 50% of the quoted fee.

Delays & Access Issues

  1. The Company will not be responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, or other circumstances beyond its control.
  2. Waiting time, additional labour, or alternative access arrangements required due to incorrect information provided by the Customer will incur extra charges.

Storage Services (if applicable)

  1. Storage is provided at the Customer’s risk unless otherwise agreed with specific insurance.
  2. The Customer must keep all accounts up to date. SuperRemovals reserves the right to withhold release of Goods until all charges are settled.
  3. If storage fees remain unpaid for 90 days, the Company may, after giving notice, sell or dispose of the Goods to recover outstanding costs.

Termination of Services

The Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services if:

  1. The Customer breaches these Terms & Conditions.
  2. The Goods are hazardous, illegal, or improperly declared.
  3. Payment is not made as agreed.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
